LFt A large hole in the center allows placement of a tiny bead, and two cross-holes allow stringing through the bead, or put in just one cross-hole, to create a drop style bead! 3 Sizes to choose from. |
| LFx 4-hole beads that are cross-threaded
and even more versatile than 2 parallel holes. |
|
| LF3 3-holes for bringing together thread in two directions and putting it out in one. |
LFt: Building the main bead with an LFt mandrel is less complicated and less limiting than building up using a simple mandrel. It also allows the development of nice rounded centers, and more design and shaping on the outside bead. The LFt mandrel can be used as a simple large-hole mandrel as well. 3 mandrel diameter to choose from: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" More.
LFx: Building a 4-hole bead with an LFx mandrel is cheaper,
lighter and much less cumbersome than similar purpose mandrels available, plus
it can be used in ways that parallel-hole beads can not, so it is more versatile
as well. See the threading diagram for more detail. The LFx mandrel can be used
with some of the popular shaping stamps, such as the lentil, but results will
be somewhat different. More.
LF3: Building a 3-hole bead with an LF3 mandrel is cheaper, lighter and much less cumbersome than similar purpose mandrels available. See the threading diagram for use. The LF3 mandrel can be used with some of the popular shaping stamps, such as the lentil, but results will be somewhat different. More.
