Vanilla Ice : Opaque White with Silver

I LOVE this glass. The COE is around 102-103 and I haven't had any problems. I've encased (small bead around 13mm) and fumed and added silver foil.

As I explained in a LE thread - using a slight reducing flame while winding the bead onto the mandrel gives you a wonderful warm striated effect. Either fumed or wrapped in silver foil you get caramel, again with striations. Delicious warm changes in the glass. I have never worked with a reactive glass I like better. It is so easy.

In the pic of the 4 beads, the two on the right had added silver - one I fumed and one I wrapped in silver foil. The two on the left in the same pic were just wound onto the mandrel in a slight reducing flame. The big pic of the lentil is a close-up of the bead on the far left.
